Single cell sequencing

We have the following single-cell instruments available, which can be booked for use by users, free of charge (on condition you sequence with us afterwards). We do not offer these as as service, meaning you have to purchase your own reagents for use on the instruments. For booking inquiries, please just send us a mail at post@sequencing.uio.no

10X Genomics Chromium

The 10X Genomics Chromium controller performs the droplet single cell partitioning central to their assays. Assays available include Gene Expression 3', Immune Cell profiling 5', ATAC chromatin accessibility and Multiome analysis. For more information see 10X Genomics Website.

Mission Bio Tapestri

The Tapestri instrument enables targeted re-sequencing of single cells, such as detection of SNPs and CNVs at the single-cell level. Applications include characterising tumour heterogeneity, checking off-target hits in genome-editing, or measuring levels of mosaicism. Single-cell DNA methylation analysis is in development. These capabilities can be combined with oligo-tagged antibodies to detect the co-expression of proteins with SNPs/CNVs (single-cell multi-omics). For more information, see https://missionbio.com/, and contact us on post@sequencing.uio.no for an introduction and to reserve the machine.

S2 Genomics Singulator

The Singulator dissociates tissue samples into single cell or nuclei suspensions by combined mechanical agitation and enzymatic digestion. The output is a pre-filtered suspension that can be further processed for single-cell sequencing. Automation of the dissociation process saves time and is more reproducible than manual processing. For more information, see S2 Genomics - Singulator 100, and contact us on post@sequencing.uio.no for an introduction and to reserve the machine.
