The NSC has a set of forms that we ask users to complete when sending us information about their project or samples:

Project enquiry forms - to provide the NSC with a description of your proposed sequencing project

Sample submission forms - to provide the NSC with sample meta-data

It is quite common for users to be unsure of the sequencing technology they should make use of in their project. For some projects, it may even be the case that a combination of several technologies is the right strategy (e.g. de novo genome assembly).

We are keen to assist our users in devising a sequencing strategy. To facilitate this process, we recommend that users fill out (in electronic format) the Project Request Form and return it to us by email. NSC staff can then get an overview of your project's goals and assist you in designing a sequencing strategy.

When sending samples to the NSC, you must fill out a sample submission form.

IMPORTANT information about forms: Please follow the instructions on the individual forms regarding their completion and return. Incomplete / incorrect information in the forms will only delay the submission process. Please contact us by email should you experience any difficulty in retrieving any of these forms.

We recommend you print the documents and read carefully all submission instructions. However, please submit by email as directed.
