Introduction
Olink Proteomics is a high-throughput protein biomarker discovery platform. The technology can detect and quantify thousands of human proteins using the Proximity Extension Assay (PEA) technology combined with a next-generation sequencing readout. This enables a rapid and detailed measurement of protein biomarkers with a dynamic range of fg-mg/mL, using minimal sample volume.
PEA-technology
Olink’s PEA-technology employs a dual antibody-based immunoassay followed by a PCR reaction. The combination of two different antibodies per protein ensures specificity, whilst the coupled DNA oligo sequences allow identification and quantification by sequencing.
